"Excellence" awards

At Kings we believe in striving for excellence. This academic year we have introduced "Excellence" awards for students producing work that is truly outstanding. There will be a fantastic prize on offer each month - with all nominees entered into a live draw during assembly. Winners and the work they produce will be posted on the website.

This work can be either academic or practical.

Parents and Friends

Our dedicated group of parents and friends would love to expand their team. Meeting regularly with the Kings' leadership team, they provide a highly useful forum for discussing ideas, as well as planning fundraising activities for the school.

If you would like more information, please contact Teresa Baker at t.baker@kingscollegeguildford.com

Homework
Changes to Homework
At Kings we believe that it is vital that students complete work outside of the classroom in order to develop and embed the skills and knowledge they have acquired. Our new homework policy reflects this.

Welcome back!

We warmly welcome back all our students

Tuesday saw the return of all students to Kings College.  Our new Year 7 intake have settled well and had a brilliant first day meeting their new tutors and familiarizing themselves with their new school.  All other students took the opportunity on Tuesday to meet with their tutors and reflect on their performance over the last academic year.  Form there, the pupils have set themselves targets to improve.  Onward and upwards for all!

Congratulations to our students!

We would like to congratulate all of our Year 11 and 6th form students on their brilliant examination results.

Full results will be published shortly. In the interim, we are delighted to say that our A* and A grades are significantly up this year as we continue to strive for academic excellence.

We wish all of our students the very best as they go on to study for A-levels and BTECs at College, join prestigious apprenticeship programmes or continue to work with us at Kings as they pursue their ambitions.

Their futures look bright!
