Applications to Kings College have surged in the last few years. Families choose us because of our positive and vibrant atmosphere, our high quality teaching and the exceptional opportunities our students access through our award winning partnership with The University of Surrey and the Royal Grammar School. This year, the Kings Open Event programme for September 2021 Year 7 Admissions will be hosted virtually. We will be providing an opportunity to view lots of aspects of the school and hear from students and staff through video content, along with an opportunity to attend one of two live Q & A sessions on Tuesday 22nd September.

Kings Virtual Open Evening

Tuesday 22nd September – Virtual Open Evening Live Q&A at 6.00pm and 7:30pm

Prospective parents will be required to book onto one of the time slots above to access the Virtual Open Evening Q&A. All other content will be posted below and can be viewed at your leisure, but we recommend you do so ahead of the live session as many questions will be answered in the videos.

To ensure we can answer as many questions as possible during each Q&A session, please email your question to office@kingscollegeguildford.com with the subject heading ‘Kings Open Evening Question’. We will then email you with a link to join in the Zoom session at your preferred time.

Visiting the school

Although COVID restrictions mean we are unable to bring visitors around the school whilst students are here, we are delighted to be able to offer a chance to have a tour of the facilities and a chance to meet and chat with key staff. There are two times available on Saturday 26th September by appointment at 10.00am or 12 noon. This will be for a guided tour of the facilities and a chance to meet Mr McKenzie (Principal), Miss Wallis (Vice Principal) and other key staff.

Award winning partnership with The University of Surrey

As a school our formal partnership with the University of Surrey provides students with opportunities to expand their horizons and by extension be a member of the University of Surrey community. Bringing university students and Kings students together to learn from each other is part of this and programmes such as Sport Mentoring provide this opportunity.
