Kings is a school that sits at the heart of the community. We are proud of our inclusivity and of the impact the school has upon all of our families and children. With strong links to the University and Royal Grammar School, we maximise the opportunities offered by other institutions in order to ensure our students receive the very best opportunities.

The Governing body is led by Mick Michell. Mick has worked in Surrey since 1986, having previously been a teacher in London and Bristol for 17 years and led a government sponsored science development project which was the forerunner of the National Curriculum in science.

His job in Surrey was, as a member of the Local Authority Inspectorate, to support and challenge schools in their efforts to improve. When he retired he became a governor at Fullbrook School. He also sits on the Education Committee of the Guildford Education Partnership (GEP) as well as chairing the governing body at Kings College Guildford.

All members of the Governing body are regular visitors to the school and work with the staff team and Principal to support and challenge our leaders to continue to strive to offer the best education for the students we serve.
